Sugar Fun

Playing with poured and pulled sugar tonight. The more I play the more competant and confident I will get with it I hope. Using silicone works great for adding texture. Also playing with mixing colors. I hope to eventually be able to create peacock feathers out of sugar for the wedding coming up in August!

And this is what happens when you miss those crystals on the side of the pot you are boiling your sugar in. Yikes!

The big heart one was actually from my mother-in-law...(that was weird!) and the little ones are cookie cutters. 2-tone created by letting smaller poured ones harden and then pushing into the middle of the big ones still hot. :)
